Day 10 - Campbellton - Rest Day

Lazy day... Marge and I got up early as we were a little cool.

During the night the temperature dropped to 3C which was below where we expected to camp. However, we will be prepared tonight with more insulation. All was not downside however as the morning was beautiful and we sat and drank our coffee in the camp kitchen which was nice and warm.

We met the local brown squirrel population which are not at all scared of humans as they came in force to raid our larder.

Tim H’s for brunch, then update the blog at the Information Office. We lazed the afternoon away not doing very much, the highlite being a visit to an Art Gallery to see some overpriced pictures and discover a cute little museum which depicted the history of the locality.

Supper, for those of you interested in our culinary exploits, was lightly curried chicken in tomato sauce, sautéed vegetables and pasta followed by Blueberry pie. The libation of choice tonight was Irish Beer and Yellow Tail Shiraz. Contrary to expectations our weight is staying about the same.

Marge had no “observations” today. She said she would have a day off.
