30 days to go, and JDRF go ahead

What superb weather...... We are doing well with the training, and my weight is dropping slowly, I am now down about 14 lbs from September working in a non obsessive manner to target 164 which is about 18lb down.  I figure that if I can get there with no side effects, my bagage is free.
We have 30 days to go now, and apparently the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation have decided that we can cayy their banner and so we can go ahead and tell everyone that we are aiming to raise at least $1 per km.  (Free of all expenses)  I will post the website when they have their house in order.   This is a privalege for us both to be able to support such a worthy cause.
In the meantime, Google JDRF and watch the video.   It's full of a lot of surprising information.

First 600 km training on the road

The weather has been sunny, or at least cloudy and dry, but with a 30k ph  wind from the north which makes a cool day positively icy as the air is so dry.  In fact it has been quite exhausting riding in the open countryside.  We had a day off today and did stuff in the garden, I got some exercise by taking out a tree stump about 10 inches across.  For the rest of today I was just grouchy as for once it was warm and windless.  The bike was calling.    Extremely hungry all day, I'm always grouchy when I'm hungry.
We received our Dell Mini netbook and I am quite amazed how quick I was up and running , I am using it to write this.
We have 43 days to go!
